Collectible Design Fair 2025
For Collectible 2025, Studio Solenne presented a dynamic dialogue between the works of Michele Mirisola and Yvonne Mak , alongside a Studio Solenne rugs created in collaboration with NuStory. Together, these pieces explore the fluid meeting points of craft, design, and fine art, and highlight the moments where they seamlessly overlap. The result is an environment that hints at history and time passed, while remaining decisively modern. It is a space that not only invites wonder, reflection and connection, but reminds us of the beauty that can live within function.

Michele’s furniture, accessories, and paintings trace a conversation between her hometown of New York City and her transformative spring residency in Lesa, Italy. Her work reflects the ornamental details that weave these two places together, while also capturing the quiet intensity of experiencing solitude for the first time. In Lesa, she was especially drawn to the whimsical textures and unlikely pairings found in the grottoes of Isola Bella - a fascination that shaped much of this series. This body of work is both a reflection and a celebration of the intersections where New York and Lesa meet.
Yvonne’s installation features printed textiles resembling sun-bleached curtains - evoking the passage of time and the presence of light. The fabric’s faded patterns suggest windows where none exist and invite a sense of openness. Drawing on the proven impact of natural elements, even as illusions, the work creates a space that feels lighter and emotionally grounding. What seems like a quiet interior gesture also becomes a poetic reflection on how time and human presence leave lasting traces on our surroundings and the planet. This piece is what grounds the booth and makes it truly feel like you’re stepping into a room.
Studio Solenne’s Creative Director, Lauren Williams Russett, has partnered with NuStory to debut a striking collection of wool rugs that merge thoughtful design with sustainable craftsmanship. Rooted in Lauren’s years of travel, the collection draws on her personal archive of floor and surface imagery, casually captured through snapshots with her phone. Once set aside, these pattern studies have now found new life - reimagined into contemporary rug designs that honor their origins while expressing a distinctly modern sensibility. Each rug is meticulously produced by skilled artisans in India and is available in custom sizes to suit a variety of interiors. The collection reflects Studio Solenne and NuStory’s shared dedication to quality design and responsible sourcing.
